    Hello,
i would be interested in tips and configurations to be done for tuning MyEclipse.
A bit frustrated about the long waiting periods when buildung and running applications with MyEclipse (had only 512M memory) i decided to buy a memory upgrade.

Now i like to change the JVM configuration on MyEclipse to speed things up.
From your experience what configuration would be best having a system like the following?:
Notebook HP Pavillion zt3300, Intel Pentium M 1.60Ghz, now having 1.25GB RAM

current startup params (not changed yet):
    -Xms128M -Xmx512M -XX:PermSize=128M –XX:MaxPermSize=128M
Are there additional possibilities to improve my MyEclipse installation’s performance?

Thanx for your information in advance
    Martin

More heap size (-Xmx) is always great. Try setting it to your mem size. Note that the the actual building of the workspace is not handled by MyEclipse.
