Hi

I am unable to install copilot in eclipse IDE

Use the following

Eclipse IDE for Enterprise Java and Web Developers (includes Incubating components)

Version: 2024-06 (4.32.0)
Build id: 20240606-1231

Java jdk version used in eclipse – 22

Getting the below error

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed session context was:(profile=epp.package.jee, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=). Repo – https://www.genuitec.com/updates/copilot4eclipse is giving 504 Gateway Timeout error from browser, Please help with correct repo path!!

Thx for sharing. Our site has been stable and regularly serves a few hundred installs/day. Could you please try installing one more time from the Eclipse Marketplace. Perhaps there was short network glitch during your install process.

If you hit another installation error please share as much of the error log message or stacktrace info as available – more info is better.
Also don’t let the 504 error mislead you to thinking the site is N/A. The url is to an eclipse update-site. The update site does not provide browser content such as a default webpage (index.html) for the browser to load, only the plugin bits. Thus the timeout.

Github Copilot plugin available in marketplace:
Copilot4Eclipse 1.2.1

Not able to install. It is giving error popup as “The following solutions are not available: Copilot4Eclipse 1.2.1”

Please suggest how to resolve.
