in the introduction hibernate exemple ,i’m stuck in the wizard of database connection driver when try to create a new database connection driver.i’ve done according to exemple what should be done(installation of jar drive). but there is a message driver class not found .

does somebody help me?

Did you add the driver jar on that page of the wizard? Which database connection are you trying to setup?

Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

i’m trying to setup a MYSQL database ,up to now i didn’t install anything assuming everything is preconfigured in myeclipe,
now i’m trying to establish a connection i get class not found.the drop down in the class name is empty.i get the message class not found.

i solved.
i was getting the error because i was adding the zip file instead of bin.jar.thank you anyway.
