Glen IhrigMemberIssue with custom install location – OS X
After installing MyEclipse for Spring 8.6 in a “custom” location, /Applications/Development/DevelopmentFolders/, this error appears in the problems log. However, the MyEclipse Derby server is able to access its database as expected.
Problem with driver "Derby Embedded JDBC Driver 10.0 Default." (Error: Unable to locate JAR/zip in file system as specified by the driver definition: /Library/Genuitec/Common/plugins/org.apache.derby.core_10.5.1.1_v20100129/derby.jar.) Derby Embedded JDBC Driver 10.0 Default Driver Problems
When I deleted MyEclipse for Spring and reinstalled, leaving the “Common directory” at the default location, the problem no longer appeared.
This may be just a nuisance error, but it seems that something is not quite right with regard to custom install locations.
Regards,
-Glen
