Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please answer some more questions for us?

1. Can you please clarify if the server is running in Debug mode and the ‘Build Automatically’ is turned on?
2. Can you also check if the In-Workspace deployment mode works for you?
3. If the issue persists, could you paste here deployment log to help us investigate further? It is located under directory .myeclipse/logs in EAR project. Before sending, please delete that file, perform deployment and hot-syncing.

Yes the server is in Debug and project is set to build Automatically (See 2 new Attachments)

Ok I have tried the same scenario in the In-Workspace deployment mode and the result is the same. You mentioned pasting the deployment log. Where do I find it?

The In-Workspace deployment is completely handled by Websphere and if it is restarting the applicaiton, then looks like we have little options. Even RAD restarts the application but with several seconds delay. In the case of MyEclipse, the restart happens immediately. We are working towards providing the same level of support.

You can try using JRebel with MyEclipse. Here are the links :

The deployment log is under directory .myeclipse/logs in EAR project. Before sending, please delete that file, perform deployment and hot-syncing.

I did a re-deploy on the MI application (ear application)
I also captured the console output during the redeploy in a file called ConsoleLogForReDeploy.txt
I then captured the console while saving a java file change. (All I did was remove a System.out and save the file) The file that has this console out is called: ConsoleLogWhenSavingJavaFile.txt

I dowloaded the Myeclipse Blue 2014 and the fix does not seem to be in this version. Any eta or information about which release it will be in?

The fix will be out with MyEclipse 13 (MyEclipse 2014 is version 12). The estimated release time is around May – June 2014.
