    When creating a new project, should the JAVAEE7 Web 3.1 project be used? If so, which application servers supports JavaEE7 – Web 3.1?

    Hi,

    If you want to be up-to-date, then you should create Java 7 project. Tomcat 8.x, Glassfish 4.x,WildFly 8.x are some of the widely used application servers which support Java 7. You can configure any of these servers from New > Other > Server wizard.
