Hi

Outside of web services how do I generate JAXB bindings for XML schemas? I don’t see any perspective or view and there doesn’t seem to be any menu item when I right click the schema.

I am afraid, currently we do not provide any option to generate JAXB bindings for XML schemas outside of web services. I shall file an enhancement request to include the same.

We often receive schemas from outside sources (federal government, other governmental agencies, etc) that we need to generate the JAXB objects for. Often the interchange of this information is via FTP or JMS and does not involve web services.

It is critical that there be an easy way to generate the XML bindings for these schemas.

I am afraid I cannot offer you any assistance as we currently do not provide any option to generate JAXB bindings for XML schemas outside of web services. I have noted your requirements and have raised PR for the dev team members.
