Ok so using the MyEclipse deployment tool does monitor your deployment directory for your project and automatically copies any changes to your deployment directory on your application server. Is that correct? If so I didn’t know that. That would solve my problem.

Looks like that is going to work.

Thank you very much! I did not know the MyEclipse deployment tool did that.

    I’m glad it’s working now.

Now with the MyEclipse Deployment tool will it only synchronize the project deployment directory and the application server deployment directory when that instance of the server is started and running?

Can I have multiple server deployments setup for one project? So I could have a deployment setup for Resin and another one setup for JBoss?

It keeps them synchronized all the time, wether the app server is running or not.

Sure. When you click the DEployment tool, select the project you want to deploy, hit Add, and then add any number of deployments to any number of servers you want.

Thanks. I have both server deployments up and running exactly how I wanted now.

I messed around with the JBoss IDE a couple of days ago and that plugin is a piece of crap compared to MyEclipse. Total waste of time.

Anyway thanks again for your help!
