    Hello:

    MyEclipse Version: 2013 SR1
    Build id: 11.0.1-20130621

I recently installed the JBoss EAP 6.1.0 and connected to it using the JBoss 7.x server Connector. However, when I deploy the Web application (both exploded or packaged) to the server, it does not get deployed right and the server does not start up the web application. However, when I manually copy the maven generated War to the deployment folder and then start the server from the Server connecter, it seems to work right.

Is there are way to mitigate this issue?
Is there any document on setting up and working with JBoss EAP server connector?

    Thanks,
    Biju Nair

    Biju,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I could not replicate the issue at my end. I have added JBoss EAP 6.1.0 using the JBoss 7.x connector. I could deploy a simple web project without any issues.

Can you please switch to a new workspace, configure the server connector and try deploying a simple web project ? If the issue persists, please copy paste the contents of the server log for the JBoss EAP 6.1.0 and also share the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log to help us investigate further.

Also share your OS and version details.

Let us know how it works for you.

Would you please share your connector properties?
I would like to compare and see the differences, if any?

    Thanks,
    Biju

    Biju,

The connector settings are the same as yours. The JBoss home is : C:\Program Files\jboss-eap-6.1 and the JDK points to the default JDK 1.6 from MyEclipse.

If you can send us the contents of the server.log and the .log file, it will help us investigate further.
