    Hi.

How can I run JBoss with a security manager under Eclipse? I enter

    -Djava.security.manager=java.rmi.RMISecurityManager

in the MyEclipse preferences as optional arguments under JBoss 3 (which otherwise runs fine) but it doesn’t work (getting for my EJB client ClassNotFoundException/no security manager: RMI class loader disabled)

    Thanks/m

    M,
Can you post your system setup per the Posting Guidelines? (Easy way to do this, hit “reply” and click the “Insert” button right above the message body text area and fill in the questions).

Ok, this is solved. My mistake was to set the security manager in program arguments instead of JVM arguments. Great way to waste a few hours 🙁
