Although i luckily got the solution, i don’t have any idea to explain this.
Each of those three tasks can’t be omitted … so weird.

Can someone explain the reason ?

The most likely keys here are 1) 4.0.3, we doubled the autocomplete speed with large classpaths in 4.0.3 and 2) the command line args, increasing the memory and perm space to Eclipse allows is to create more objects and avoid GC cycles, this is always a good thing if possible.

hi to everyone. i have same problem and read all the posts. i dont think that tha included libraried are the reason for slow response or freezing of autocomplete. since it works normally when editin class files. it is only slow in editin inline code of jsp, at least in my case. a think that is most likely a bug and i am looking forward to get its fix.
