When I can I expected this bug to be fixed for the Eclipse 3 platform? I see that your release today is only for 2.x.

Maybe out of place, but here’s a suggestion – could you mention your internal bug/enhancement tracking # when a bug is discovered? it would make it a lot easier to refer to the specific issue during discussion.

I believe you are hitting a known bug in the JSP editor for the handling of jsp:usebean, jsp:get|setProperty tags. This has been fixed and will be released very shortly. Following are other reports similar to this. Please let us know if your case is different:

We are working on an enhanced XML editor with lots of new capabilities. Thus energies have been into development of this new editor vs maintaining the older “soon to be obsolete” editor.

Yes, it’s fixed in the current release (2.7) and will also be fixed in 3.7 when it is released in the M6 timeframe.
