Support here is normally good, I am just beginning but I think if it is a webapp, the screen only shows for a moment. In a native app the screen stays open for a longer period of time without doing anything in the programming part. I am sure you can control all aspects of you app. When support is back from enjoying Christmas day thru the New Year, they will be all over your question. I think support does a great job. Especially when you consider the price of mobione (which I love)
It’s not magic. It’s logic. The first page loaded should be an exact copy of your splash screen, so the user sees no difference. After a certain amount of time, go to the main homepage.
I agree with @1thinchip that you should avoid traditional product splash screens and use a startup image that much more closely emulates the initial state the app will startup in. This is strongly recommended by apple’s design guidelines. I kicked this question to our devs to learn if there are additional controls for a minimum time that startup image is rendered. I’ll share details when they return.
