    Hi,

If I wanted to build an iOS app locally, not in your cloud service, can I simply add phonegap.js in the JavaScript library and would that have to be 1.1.0? Is there anything else I would need to add? I can recreate and add iTunesArtwork no problem but I noticed your built apps have childbrowser.js too? I am already able to build these I just need to know what would make them fully functional.

One other question I noticed a while back there was some talk of adding an obfuscating code feature, is this still on the cards?

    Many thanks as ever.

    Hi cutproductions,

I’ve received feedback from Dev Team and unfortunatelly we do not currently support local builds of MobiOne native apps, but we are looking into supporting this in the very near future.

    Hi Octavio,

Thanks but it wasn’t exactly what I was asking. I have already developed my own software for building native iOS apps locally on Windows with the profile and certificate, I just wanted to know what other files to include for a MobiOne www folder when I package it. I realise phonegap.js but does this have to be 1.1.0 and childbrowser.js?

    Many thanks.

    Hi cutproductions,

We have custom native code (i.e. PhoneGap plugins) for Android and iOS that work around bugs in those operating systems as well as provide improved support for things like the video widget. The HTML and JavaScript we generate in MobiOne depend on this code being available in native apps. We do not currently make this code available but have plans to do so in the future. You are more than welcome to attempt to build your own native apps (using PhoneGap 1.1.0), but we cannot guarantee that they will function correctly without our custom native code.

    Hi Octavio,

Thanks for that. Just to emphasize what I’m doing is no way a replacement for your excellent cloud service and is only for my personal developer use and I in no way want to garner proprietary info. Is there a way to speak offline with you guys about a couple of things?

    Many thanks
