    Hi all,

finally it is working for me, too.

    What did I do:

    1. I reproduced the problem as described. And yes, it was working on iPad and 4s, not working on 3Gs and 4.
    2. Uninstall the APP from the devices.
    3. I did uninstall Mobione 2.1.1 and reinstalled it.
    4. I did save the relevant files to a new directory.
    5. Made a new ipa.
    6. Insatlled it on my devices (iPhone 3Gs, 4, 4s iPad).

It is working now on all devices.

To be honest, I do not know what the problem was. I think it must have something to do with updating Mobione and using the updated files.

    Thanks and best

And another one on this topic:

The local storage stuff works fine. But when I update the app (just by installing a new version) it is not working anymore. I am not talking about, that data is kept after the update.

    For example:
I present news in my APP. When the user did read a news, I remember that in the local storage and present it in a different way in the news overview page.

When I update the APP, this information (and all the downloaded xml stuff) is gone, which is ok. But when read a news, it is correctly marked as read as long as I do not kill and restart the app.

    No big deal for now.

    Two questions about this:
    – How will it be, when I update the APP over APP store? Will the olde version be deleted and the new one is a fresh installation? In this case I would expect it will work.

    – Is it of interest for Mobione support to follow up on this one?

    Thanks and best
