    hi

i tried to update my ide , with some subclipse 1.4 and 1.6 to have the svn perspective. had trouble at first, but somehow it downlodaded and installed itself.

but when i tried to use the ide, got lost myeclipse(default) perspective.

    JamesRaynor,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Could you answer below queries –
    1. Copy and paste your installation details here. Please refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshooting-how-to-view-the-installation-details/&highlight=
    2. From MyEclipse IDE, click on Window > Preferences > General. Click on [Restore Default], [Apply] and [OK]
    3. In case the above does not restore your default perspective, please perform a -clean, refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/

Let me know how this works for you.

    James,

To get to installation details, you need to open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
I would recommend you a quick re-install and run. This is what you need to do –
    1. Open Pulse (Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer or download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com)
    2. Login to pulse, you can also login anonymously
    3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left dropdown
    4. Select “MyEclipse 8.5/8.6” from My Profiles
    5. Right click on the same and click on [re-install and run]
    6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps. Since ME 8.5 is already installed a re-install would be faster.

Let me know how this works for you.

    Best
