support-joyMemberJamesRaynor,
Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Could you answer below queries –
1. Copy and paste your installation details here. Please refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshooting-how-to-view-the-installation-details/&highlight=
2. From MyEclipse IDE, click on Window > Preferences > General. Click on [Restore Default], [Apply] and [OK]
3. In case the above does not restore your default perspective, please perform a -clean, refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/Let me know how this works for you.
JamesRaynorMemberwhere are the installations details?
JamesRaynorMemberit didnt work
maybe i didnt do it right
my myeclipse.ini is like:
myeclipse.exe -clean -startup ../Common/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v20090715.jar --launcher.library ../Common/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_1.0.200.v20090519 -install C:/Program Files (x86)/Genuitec/MyEclipse 8.5 -vm C:/Program Files (x86)/Genuitec/Common/binary/com.sun.java.jdk.win32.x86_1.6.0.013/jre/bin/client/jvm.dll -configuration configuration -vmargs -Xmx512m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=64m
support-joyMemberJames,
To get to installation details, you need to open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
I would recommend you a quick re-install and run. This is what you need to do –
1. Open Pulse (Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer or download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com)
2. Login to pulse, you can also login anonymously
3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left dropdown
4. Select “MyEclipse 8.5/8.6” from My Profiles
5. Right click on the same and click on [re-install and run]
6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps. Since ME 8.5 is already installed a re-install would be faster.Let me know how this works for you.
Best
