support-joyMemberjrmeyer_aspecta,
To get to installation details, open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details. In case your ME is not installed, can you copy and paste your myeclipse.ini file here, it is located under your myeclipse installation dir. Also mention details regarding your OS configurations.
You can find 3rd party plugins listed by opening MyEclipse IDE, from the menu options click on Help > Software Updates > Add/Remove Software. All your 3rd party plugins are listed under Personal Software. Please list them here for me.
Also can you look for pulse2.properties (located here ~\Genuitec\Common\configuration\pulse2.properties) and copy and paste the pulse.handshake.id here for me? This will help me locate specific error on our server logs.
Thank you for your help.
support-joyMemberI have discussed this issue with our dev team members and they have suggested the below mentioned –
You might find it strange — but I believe this might work for you.
1. shut down MyEclipse
2. go to poweredbypulse.com and download Pulse (this is the newest 2.5 release)
3. Install it and run it
4. Using the Pulse Explorer directly, add all the software to your Ganymede/MyEclipse 7.5 profile — then hit Run
Let me know if this works.
Pulse 2.5 includes some further improved network communication protocols that might help, but you have to install it manually in this fashion as MyEclipse 7.5 is locked to Pulse 2.4.2Sorry for the inconvinience.
jrmeyer_aspectaMemberBut I don’t want to use pulse. I tried it the same thing as I posted on page 4. What was working for a former version. But pulse crashed during the installation. And I have work to do and no time to be a software tester.
support-joyMemberI am afraid I don’t have any suggestions for you other than above.
Can you copy and paste pulse.handshake.id from pulse2.properties file? Please look here ~\Genuitec\Common\configuration\pulse2.properties
I will escalate this to a dev team member for any possible workaround.

If you dont want to upgrade Pulse, you can remove everything and just use our manual install (no Pulse) or the update site or the archived update site, then there is no Pulse and you can just use stock eclipse. Then you should be able to setup the plugins without any issue.
