nmcfetersMemberYou HAVE to be kidding me! I thought Java was cross-platform? I understand it’s not that simple, but for god sakes, there’s tons of Mac developers…. where are we at on this? Looking at the posts it looks like this has been talked about for a long long time now. What’s the timeline for getting this resolved?

innogateMemberI would like to enforce the request for a mac version of the MyEclipse Matisse Editor in this thread. There is quite urgent need for this. We used to use the Eclipse Visual Editor, but since this is quite dead right now and not available for Eclipse 3.3 we are in urgent need of a replacement.
Since MyEclipse normally comes with a Swing Editor it is only natural that we want to use it. But with this situation the posititon of MyEclipse in our company is rapidly losing ground and if it does not change in the next time (or we at least have some some date where it will get available) we will be forced to switch to another IDE that gives us the functionality we need on the OS that we want.
Since the matisse editor was a port from NetBeans, which offers this functionality on all platforms, I also do not understand the OS lock-in of the MyEclipse version. Was it enhanced with native functionality?
