Maven4MyEclipse Dependency Project Creation Tutorial Problem
The tutorial at http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/maven/mavenJavaTutorial/ says to create a project type MyEclips | Maven | Java Project for Maven Library but in the 8.5 install I dont see any such thing. The only maven projects are under Other and include Maven Module, Maven POM file and Maven Project.
Can you give me some more information to understand the issue?
1) Are you able to see “Java Maven Project” under Maven in ME 8.5?
2) How did you install ME 8.5?
3) Is the Maven4MyEclipse is enabled in preference wizard? You can check by going to “Window–>Preference–>MyEclipse–>Maven4MyEclipse”.
1) From Package Explorer I can right mouse and do New | MyEclipse | Maven and see Java Maven Project. This is also at the top in the New Project WIzard.
2) I installed the 8.5 all-in-one
3) Maven4MyEclipse is enabled in the preferences.
I cannot find any option titled “Java Project for Maven Library” like the tutorial shows.
If you are able to see “Java Maven Project” option in ME 8.5, it is the same as “Java Project for Maven Library”. The dev team confirmed that we don’t have that Library name, it is just Maven project. Please let me know if it is not clear.
