Middlegen is a great standalone product, getting it into eclipse as a plugin would be even better.

Any change on this. I’d double my subscription fee for this (getting webservices / wsdl as bonus I hope 😉

Middlegen is nice, but can’t you get the same functionality out of the code generation capabilities of XDoclet?

Webservices will be coming in a subsequent release, but I doubt the extra thirty bucks will be what puts it at the top of the list as far as management is concerned. 🙂

Middlegen is an xdoclet generator. It doesn’t generate all classes itself, it creates just those with the xdoclet params (just like your wizzards do) but for more. e.g. CMR between several tables, JDO classes. Afther that, xdoclet takes over and generates all classes.

Just look at it as a visual CMR/CMP/JDO/…. wizard. One has to know even less about xdoclet tags when using middlegen.
