    Hi there,

I have a web project, lets say called “my-cvs-project”. However, when ‘quick deployed’ to the installed and configured Tomcat7, I want the webapp to actually be “my-deployed-project”.

Now this setting used to be under ‘MyEclipse -> Web’ but seems to have gone. I have checked under “deployment assembly -> advanced -> archive name”, but this seems to be having no effect and the project is not renamed upon deployment.

Could you assist me in this issue?

    Many Thanks,
    Al.

    Al,

You can find the ‘Web’ properties page under Project properties > MyEclipse > Project Facets > Web. In the web properties page, change the Web Context-root and deploy the application to tomcat. (Please see the attached screenshot for a visual reference)

Let us know how it works for you.
