I think that HTML preview work in Linux
I get Web browser and it work

myeclipseide site in web browser view on linux, 280k)

I can preview any html in my application when I type file name in web browser – I need that MyEclipse set html file in web browser like image in image preview

Now that we have browsing support we’ll be putting in HTML and JSP preview for Linux ande Mac into 3.8 Beta 2 in a couple of weeks. Hang in there, it’s coming. 🙂

Yes, it’s Mozilla.

SWT Browser widget uses Mozilla on Linux, IE on Windows and I think Safari on Mac… although I’m not sure about the Mac one…
