I have the MyEclipse 7.0 All-in-one installer on Windows XP 32 bit. Mylyn is now part of 7.0 (or I added it as an MyEclipse plug-in). I imported all my old MyEclipse 6.6 settings where I had Mylyn 3 installed (and started with my 6.6 workspace).

My problem is that I can’t add a task repository in the “Task Repositories” view: When I right-click to ad add a repository, everything is greyed out. Only the local repository is there which I can’t change either – but I can add a task to it.

    Karsten,

Sorry for the confusion, we don’t ship all the Mylyn repo integration points out of the box because we aren’t sure which ones users will want. You can use Help > Software Update > Add/Remove and add the Mylyn update site (http://download.eclipse.org/tools/mylyn/update/e3.4) then add the appropriate repo type you want to integrate with then setup your repository after restarting.

    Hi!

I found it out myself – pretty stupid of me, to be honest. BTW: I updated Mylyn in MyEclipse through Pulse, not through the update site – and so should you! 😉

haha, fair enough. I’m glad it worked though, thanks for circling back and letting us know.
