I am getting this message everytime I start MyEclipse and many times durring the day. They last for 30 to 100 secs and are becommig more and more a probem. Does anyone know what is going on during this time. The IDE does not give any messages……
It’s happending to me now. MyEclipse partially draws the window, then nothing else happens. I checked .<metatdata>/.log and found nothing relevant, everything in it was a couple of hours old.
Was MyEclipse working without issues before this? What version of MyEclipse are you working with? How did you setup MyEclipse? Using the All in One installer or Pulse or the archive installer?

This is actually caused by the old updated checking for updates on startup (this will be fixed in 7.0). You can turn this off by going to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Community Essentials and unchecking the “Check for updates on startup” checkbox then restarting. Sorry for the trouble.
