Out of nowhere when I right-click on my ejb, web, and Ent. App. projects, all of the properties have disappeared. The only thing that comes up in the dialog is, “External Tool Builders”.

I tried reinstalling MyEclipse and also tried rebooting; still getting the same results. My environment is as follows:

JBoss 3.2.2 RC2
MyEclipse 2.6.1
Eclipse 2.1.1
JDK 1.4.1_04

The only thing I could try to do is reinstall eclipse and then reinstall MyEclipse. Has anyone else had this problem? The URL below contains a screen shot of the problem above:

Thanks for posting the screenshots. Does your Eclipse log file indicated any type of catestrophic failure, see <your workspace>/.metadata/.log or use the PDE Error View. Also did your Eclipse environment run out of memory prior to loosing properties and preferences?

I recommend reinstalling Eclipse and MyEclipse. This looks like Eclipse is dorked. Be sure to uninstall and remove MyEclipse and Eclipse completely. After you reinstall Eclipse try starting it up and verify that prefs and properties work correctly before reinstalling MyEclipse.

I deleted all of the Eclipse stuff and reinstalled it from scratch and everything works fine now. Don’t really know why it happened, but it sure was weird!

I did check the PDE Error View before reinstalling and found an error entry for the core eclipse runtime plugin. It was basically telling me that it blew up pretty hard and furious like (i.e. dorked pretty good ;).
