rwebb@instantiations.comParticipantI was running MyEclipse 2024 and yesterday it prompted me to install the latest update, so I did. After installing, I get this error when I try to start My Eclipse – “An error has occurred. See the log file C:\Users\rwebb\MyEclipse\configuration\1743520674225.log
I have attached the log file, along with my config.ini. MyEclipse is running on a Windows Server 2022 VM under VMWare Workstation Pro 17.

rwebb@instantiations.comParticipantFor some reason it didn’t allow me to upload the log file and config file, so I renamed them as .txt and will try to upload them again.

Sorry to see you run into this. The most expedient solution is to use MyEclipse offline installer to fix this issue. Please download the 2025 installer: https://www.genuitec.com/products/myeclipse/download/ and run it. Choose the “repair” option, which should do the trick, or you can uninstall and install a fresh instance of the IDE.

I had the exact same problem, which thankfully the repair option in the installer fixed too. Did take a while to figure out all the third-party plugins I had to reinstall though after they were removed…
After doing this the available software sites section in Preferences was empty. After installing plugins two sites appeared for ‘Eclipse Discovery’ and ‘Genuitec SDC Upsell’ alongside the plugin ones. Has the MyEclipse product update mechanism changed or has something gone wrong?
