The quick install never seems to work for me on the Mac under the latest version of MyEclipseIDE 6.x.

The latest update dialog list three new updates,

1. ICEfaces AJAX and Java EE Tooling for MyEclipse 6.0.1…
2. MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench 6.0.1….
3. MyEclipse Reports 6.0.2….

Every time I try to complete the update by pressing the finish button on the quick install dialog, I get configuration errors.

Most of them are related to … blah blah blah requires feature yyyy…

The thing is that I have NOT added any third party plugins to my installation and always update through the quick installer built into MyEclipseIDE.

I would expect that the installer can manage dependencies unless they were related to problems caused by conflicts with 3rd Party Plugins, which I do NOT have.

Seems to only happen on the Mac version.

I am running the latest version of the 1.5 JVM available for the Mac platform.

Can you paste the entire error message here for me. Im not sure what feature its asking you to install.

BTW, have tried using pulse (www.poweredbypulse.com)? Do you face similar issues when using pulse?
