I am investigating development of web applications using OSGI. We are running WebSphere 7 with the JPA2 and OSGI feature pack. I can manually create Web Application Bundles. However, does MyEclipseBlue support creation of WAB (war) and EBA (ear) and having them deployed automatically to Websphere? I will have a tough sell to the management and development staff to use OSGI if they are forgoing many automated features that working directly with a WAR and EAR provide in the IDE.

We do not currently have OSGi support in MyEclipse.
We have seen only a few requests from customers for OSGi support, so this has so far been a low priority for our team. I’m raising the priority with your request, so we will be doing a brief investigation of what is required at our end to support OSGi development.
Are you interested in deploying to WAS 7 or other WAS versions (or other server families)?
