    Frank,

    1) Apologies for not reading the entire thread.

    2) It appears that we do have a problem with the fact that even though you chose to install the connectors, they were not installed. I have replicated this issue and this bug is being taken care of now.

    3) When you start your workspace, the SVN connector dialog pops up and asks you to install a connector. If you choose one here, it ultimately results in the error you pasted earlier; is this flow correct?

This is likely due to the fact that the custom connector installation wizard is not reading your proxy settings correctly – there is nothing we can do about this, nor can I say what is going wrong for certain because this is something produced by the Subversive team.

    4) As a workaround for now, follow these steps:

    a) Download an archive of the most recent connector build to your machine, here is the link:

    http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/builds/Subversive-connectors-2.2.2.I20110419-1700.zip

    b) In the Software tab of the MyEclipse Configuration Center, under the “Browse Software” section, choose “add site”. Give it any name and specify the path to the zip file.

    c) You will now see your site appear under the Personal Site section.
Expand the site and the nested “Subversive SVN Connectors” category.
Add the features you wish to your profile by right clicking and choosing “Add to Profile”. I recommend the following selection, though you are free to choose the connectors you need:
    i) JavaHL 1.6.12 Win32 Binaries
    ii) Native JavaHL 1.6 Implementation
    iii) Subversive SVN Connectors
    iv) SVNKit 1.3.5 Implementation

Once you apply these changes and restart MyEclipse, you should see the connectors installed.

Once again, I apologize for this inconvenience; our team is taking a look at fixing the issue so simply selecting all the connectors in the first place (when you first selected Subversive) would install them and you wouldn’t need to go through these additional steps.

Please let me know if you need additional assistance.
