We understand that you experience the deadlock on the NewActionFormJSPWizard. Do you experience the deadlock on the either basic NewForm or NewAction wizards? These are the only 3 wizards for which the deadlock situation may occur.
I suddenly started getting GEF plugin problems.
I followed the solution from another thread to fix the problem. I unzipped the Eclipse 3.0 SDK into a new directory. Uninstalled MyEclipse and re-installed beta 2 again. That not only fixed the GEF problem, it also fixed my problem.
So perhaps installing beta 2 on top of beta 1 may not be a good idea.

os2baba, we extend our thanks for continuing to troubleshoot the problem on your own and eventually comming to the solution, that’s great!
I’m experience the same problem on WinXP, Xeon 2.4Ghz, Eclipse 3.0 and MyEclipse 3.8-Beta-2. The wizard for creating Actions and Forms seems to lock or sometime not produce any code.
You have an old version of GEF installed somewhere else within the installation and it is begin picked up instead of GEF 3.0 Final that ships with ME 3.8 Beta 2. Please see http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-2856-highlight-gef.html
