Hi all,

I’m trying to add ‘Web App Library’ into the build path of my web project. But I found that the project list is empty so that I can NOT add it into the build path.

The reason I want to add ‘Web App Library’ is that I don’t want the see the dependent jars under the root directory.

Currently I had to create a user library to solve this problem. Does any one know how to add ‘Web App Library’ into the build path in MyEclipse? Seems in WTP, it’s very easy.

archerzz… I need you to clarify what you are asking… I have o idea what “Web App Library” is, is that a project of yours? What kind of project is it? What TYPE of project are you trying to add it to?

Please provide more details.

I also have a similar issue, not sure how I can group all jar files from classpath into Web App Libraries without going through User Libraries. It’s the so-called container that dynamically manages classpath entries for types in the WEB-INF/lib and WEB-INF/classes directories in MyEclipse.

I finally figured out why I had no idea what you were talking about… “Web App Libraries” is a term used in WTP, not in MyEclipse. It looks like your questions are WTP questions.

Sorry for the late reply.
I asked this question because I could see “Web App Libraries” in the builder path configuration (Java Build Path –> Libraies –> Add libraries… ) in MyEclipse. Anyway, I can handle it by adding user library. It would be better if MyEclipse can also provide “Web App Libraries” like WTP.
