I would be usefull to provide a package to install myeclipse on top of a working wtp 1.5 installation.

I don’t know if this is an option as time to time we have to patch bugs in WTP, but I will ask.

I understand that you need to patch some wtp plugins but I also need to have ALL the WTP functionality enabled.

Currently you only install the WTP plugins required by MyEclipse leaving important WTP functionality unaccesible to MyEclipse users.

These functionalities are only turned off, not cut out. Go to Window > Prefs > General > Capabilities, click Advanced, drill down to MyEclipse Standard Tools, then at the very bottom enable “WTP EXtras”

After investigating more I found out that I don’t see the Window > Prefs > General > Capabilities preference page due to the fact I had installed the runtime version of Eclipse platform + JDT

It seems that I have to install the Eclipse SDK to have capabilities enabled. It is the only way I found to enable the WTP capabilities.
