My apologies, I had actually meant for you to try -nl en_US. I was able to replicate the problem with both en_DE and en_EN.
There seems to be some questionable code in the JDK’s ResultSet where the locale is concerned and our DB team is taking a look at it now.
Could you let me know if that fixes if for you?Thanks.

Neither editing of a new created emtpy table with one char-Column nor starting eclipse with option -nl en_EN worked for me. Couldn’t you reproduce this?
Forget about my last post. Setting option -nl en_US works. I didn’t recognize the post on page 2 for this thread:-).
