How do you get rid of the annoying prompt every time my paid for version of MyEclipse Blue starts – “The myEclipse for Spring trial period has expired”. I dont remember ever selecting spring options on install. I’m not even sure what the options are – but it is really frustrating! If I need spring I switch to STS, but i diont want ot go down that route… I just want to switch off the prompt!

    Version: 10.6 Blue

    t23745,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please check if “MyEclipse for Spring” feature is added from the Dashboard ? Go to MyEclipse Configuration Center > Dashboard and check if the feature ” MyEclipse for Spring” is selected. If yes then please uncheck it, wait for the change to be recognized, apply the changes and restart the IDE if its prompts to.

If you still see the issue, I suggest you reinstall MyEclipse. When you rerun the installer, you will get options to Reinstall or Repair. Select Reinstall and proceed.

Attached is the screenshot of the Dashboard for your reference.
