Hello,

I tried searching this site for information on the roadmap for the 2016 release, but could find nothing. Could someone reveal a little information on this. There is a significant bug in LUNA that is resolved in MARS and it is inhibiting our development. Would rather not switch back to standard Eclipse if the MyEclispeIDE 2016 release is in beta or being released shortly.

Our 2016 release (based on Mars) is being worked on now and is due for its first release in about 4-6 weeks.

Can you let us know which bug fix you’re waiting for, so that we can make sure we’ve picked it up for the release?

Thanks for the prompt reply.

The bug was discovered in the SWT Browser in the way JavaScript security was handled. The solution was to add an additional API call to the Browser class, which is now in MARS.

Based on past experience with releases, I’m going to assume ~12 weeks. (-;

Thanks for the information. Looks like your experience has lowered your expectations. At least you shouldn’t be disappointed, with that sort of guideline! 🙂
