My web app needs ShockWave plugin which doesnt seem to be supported in MyEclipse web browswer , so I can not debug in remote mode where source code is not available (just like Google map example , shown in help).

    Appreciate your help.

    sudhirkd ,

I suppose that you use Linux gtk. There is bug with gtk browser and shockwave plugin and browser dooesn’t repaint page correctly. You can try maximize/minimize (or resize browser anyhow) and your page will be repainted.
Maybe I haven’t understood your problem and please send us version Eclipse, MyEclipse and your operating system if this doesn’t help you

    Thanks for replies.

I am using Windows XP. When I open my web app in MyEclipse Web 2.0 browser, It shows plug in required and when I click on it , it lands to Adobe site but i can not click on “Download” button , I suppose that is specifically disabled by checking that the browser doesnt support Shockwave. Here is the link on which download button doesnt work.

    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash%3fapplication/x-shockwave-flash

My eclipse 3.2. MyEclipse 5.1 Pro edition.

    Thanks

    sudhirkd ,

Please try download firefox (if you haven’t it) and download plugin with firefox
If you won’t download firefox you can click cancel on download popup (if your page isn’t painted try use resize described in my previous post)

Web 2.0 browser doesn’t support plugin, but you can debug javascript without plugin

    Regards,
