    Hello,

I use myeclipse and I love it. There is a list of the features that I would like
to present you with that will be of help of all the others as well…

    1) For Deployment clicking on deploy, selecting project and then the deployment desription. This takes very long during development. Instead,
a selection tool box with redeploy last deployment feature similar to “Run” of
    eclipse itself would be great.

    2) Above applies for run xdoclet as well.

    3) Hibernate3 / EJB3 support. Yes, yes, yes…. please.

    Regards,
    Hasan Ceylan

EJB 3 support would be great as well as Hibernate 3 support. It is easy to program EJB 3 so that it is possible with no tools, thing we did for a while, but it would be great to have a MyEclipse support. If not I’d probably have to consider changing IDE for JDeveloper that is now free and will have the EJB 3 support soon. Would be a shame bc for all the rest we prefer Eclipse/MyEclipse…

I understand that you wait for the final spec, but now that the Public Draft is on and that ME 4.0M2/Eclipse 3.1 are ready, may be you can tell about your plans ?

    Bernard,
The plans are even changing (for example Hibernate 3 was never planned for 4.0 until people asked for it so we targetted it for Milestone 2/3). I know that we are seriously looking into rounding out our Hibernate 3 and EJB 3 support, the EJB3 support will come after, maybe 4.1 or later release, but we know it’s important.
