Mikelv001MemberHi Octavio-
Ok, so I’ve gone through a changed “hundreds and hundreds” of list items from gloss to solid colors for both the background and ‘active highlight’ colors. Performance is better, but scrolling is still very jerky and jumpy -not silky smooth by a long shot. My latest ipa build is #1934306, and is testing on a 4S.
On a previous test tonight, the map widget wasn’t working at all – the map is set up as a 320×460 separate screen, and is reached by a navigate button to / back button. The tested ipa wouldn’t show the map at all, but the build noted above has maps working fine.
Is there something in the build that is hurting performance – or is there anything else I can do? I don’t think the scrolling I see tonight would be well received in the app store.
Ideas?
Thank you for your help-
Mike
Mikelv001MemberHi Octavio-
Here’s where my problem stands. I’ve spent probably 10 hours changing every and all background / activate colors from gloss to solid color black. In the test center and ipa testing on my 4S, scrolling is still terrible, and only marginally better than when I first raised the issue. Even screens with a dozen or so list items barely move/scroll.
This project is done, and would be off to Application Loader and the App Review Gods if scrolling was acceptable.
I know there are ‘a lot’ of screens; but I want to have info available/organized three ways: by name / alphabetical; by category; and by location. That’s why there are so many.
Let me know your thoughts so I can get this to the market; today’s latest ipa build is 1926639.
Thank you for your help-

Mikelv001MemberGuys-
Any status updates? Is your team looking for possible solutions?
On an unrelated request, I run M1 on my desktop, and downloaded the demo on my laptop. Is it possible to license the laptop version with the same key? I obviously would never be running the two versions at the same time.
Thank you for your help-

support-octavioMemberHi Mike,
As your project is too big (12Mb of HTML/CSS files – plus, each image unpacks to eat more space) we can’t promise that this workaround will work. But we hope this is helpful for you.
Please try changing the Page Arch property on all pages except main one to remote webpage. This could be set in app settings, as default value – this would prevent you from changing dozens of files manually. See image:

Mikelv001MemberHi Octavio-
It works!!
I’ve done a new iOS ipa build, and installed on my 4S: 1946622. The scrolling is fast and smooth. A few questions.
1. I have no idea what I’ve done – I don’t understand the change to Arch Property. When I change from provisional to distribution in iTunes Connect, will the app that’s downloaded by buyers be exactly the same, anywhere where the app is used? I have other apps up for sale, and mine tend to be purchased by a wide range of buyers. I want to be sure someone in Japan on their way to Vegas won’t have problem running the app.
2. When I opened up mobione and loaded my first main screen, I went to windows/settings and changed Arch properties as you described. I believe by changing the settings this way it changed the default for all screens, but how do I leave the first main ‘as it was’? Is it ok that all screens’ settings are now changed?
3. The only ‘minor’ issue is when I tap a nav bar to take me to another screen, there’s a minor lag with the ‘loading’ icon spinning around as the next page loads. Not a big deal, certainly better than dead scrolling.
4. Otherwise, did I do this ok, and is it ready to go? What did you think of it?

Mikelv001MemberHey Octavio-
Ive made some minor cosmetic tweaks, and it’s at the App Store “Waiting For Review”. Since I don’t understand the concept behind the Arch Property change I (we) made, I wanted to confirm the smooth performance I see when I downloaded the ipa provisional app to my 4S will be the same as a buyer who downloads the distribution app through the app store.
On another front, I downloaded the test version to my laptop, and the trial period timed out after less than a week. I’m overseas, and working on a new app. Is it possible to use the key for my desk version on my laptop? You should be able to find my license through the app you reviewed (and please send the key to my email I’ve used to register / download ipa’s).
Thank you 🙂

support-octavioMemberHi Mike,
We are 99 percent sure performance won’t change (for sure if it is tested on the same hardware, etc). The only difference between ipa you got from from AppCenter and ipa end-user downloads from AppStore is signing info.
About using your license key in a secondary machine this is possible, while you run only MobiOne in one computer.
