Hi and thanks for the answer. I understand it will take some time to change you binaries.

I just wondered if it would help to install MyEclipse using the update site (the version Im running now was installed using the all-in-one installer). The reason Im asking is because a colleague of mine is running Eclipse on SL without having any problems with CVS connections.

Not sure if it would help but you can give it a shot.

I’ve now tried it and it works like a charm, the CVS part that is!

However, it seems like the update site is not fully equivalent with the all-in-one installer when it comes to manage plugins (Im used to download the Groovy plugin using the Help – Add Software feature, which is not available anymore. But that another issue – recently I’ve always used the all-in-one installer.

Just wanted to say that downloading Eclipse Ganymede and then installing MyEclipse gives you a function CVS connection on Snow Leopard. I guess I should mention that I did install Xcode as well, however I dont know if this is necessary or not, I did it before I tried installing MyEclipse as an update.

    aka,

Good to hear you are all set.

If you can download the groovy plugin as a zip file, unzip the same to [your myeclipse dir]/dropins and restart MyEclipse IDE.
