I did try to show source or view/edit procedure, the option is not there. It’s OK for triggers and functions, can’t remember which one works or not. I am using the JSQLEditor plugin to highlight pl/sql syntax , but it’s too new, and lack of support. Hence I hope MyEclipse will able to do more things with PL/SQL, why database developer like myself do use Eclipse, is because Oracle support Java, and I did something help Java guys to write codes and we are using CVS, and I do not like WinCVS. I just need one IDE for all, that’s it!

Well, you seem to have strong opinions on the matter! 😉

Take a look at the Table Info View – you should see a tab that displays the source of procedures, triggers, packages, etc. At this time, the ability to edit and execute procedures and other objects in Database Explorer has been delayed.

Thanks for that, so far it’s not bad, but I still can’t wait when we (database developer) will get hands on pl/sql on Eclipse with editing, code completion, syntax highlighting, debugging. Hence to say bye2x to Toad, JDeveloper and PL/SQL Developer. 😀 I will throw JDeveloper when MyEclipse support Web Services.
