I am trying to commit changes, and I am getting the following error in the SVN Console:

    delete –force C:/Workspaces/MyEclipse 8.x/www.hidden.com/www
svn: ‘C:\Workspaces\MyEclipse 8.x\www.hidden.com\www’ does not exist
svn: ‘C:\Workspaces\MyEclipse 8.x\www.hidden.com\www’ does not exist

I am using MyEclipse 8.5 build 20100319, Subclipse 1.6.10, and I am using the SVNKit SVN client.

Team > Commit has been working for all my other projects. Here’s what I did:
    1. I checked out the branch /foo/bar/branches/www-1.25 into C:\Workspaces\MyEclipse 8.x\www.hidden.com
    2. I merged a range of revisions from the trunk into C:\Workspaces\MyEclipse 8.x\www.hidden.com. No problems, just a couple of updates.
    3. I tried to commit the changes.

I realize this may be an issue for the Subclipse team, but I wanted to post it here too in case it is a problem with how MyEclipse uses Subclipse.

Let me know if I can do anything to help resolve this problem.

    stephen.wick,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue.Let me clarify that MyEclipse doesn’t provide any intrinsic support for SVN. I would recommend you to try once again by removing your SVN settings and re-create them afresh?

Great suggestion. I just realized why I was getting the error. The first merge I did failed, because I accidentally tried to merge two different directory trees together, and I never did a ‘svn revert’ before attempting to merge again.

    Thanks for your help!
