I installed MyEclipse 8.5 blue edition.

From the Config Center I selected subversive to install.

It popped up a Pulse Explorer Window with the mesage:

Software being installed: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.5 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000005 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-23999-rmb-678050 2.0.0.0000000005)
Missing requirement: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.5 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000005 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-23999-rmb-678050 2.0.0.0000000005) requires ‘org.tigris.subversion.clientadapter.feature.featu re.group 0.0.0’ but it could not be found

What did I wrong?

I cannot replicate this issue at my end. How did you install Subversive plug-in? I have installed subversive using MyEclipse configuration center. Please see the attached screenshots.

I looked in the Plug-in Registry for ‘org.tigris.subversion.clientadapter and it is not there. This is a new install of MyEclips why is the plug-in missing?

I was also using the MyEclipse Configuration Center to install the subversive plugin, and now it is workung!
My solution was to uninstall the subclipse 1.6 plugin first, and the to retry to install the subversive plugin.
Now the installation looks fine, but I have still to check a real connection. That has to wait until tomorrow, it’s going late…

Can you list out 3rd party plugins on your ME 8.5 profile?

I looked in the Plug-in Registry for ‘org.tigris.subversion.clientadapter and it is not there. This is a new install of MyEclips why is the plug-in missing?

Please refer 1. Add Subversive.GIF above. Can you verify if you have followed the same?

Yes I am installing the subversion plug-in from the Configuration Center but I don’t get the same list of Related Software.

I have tried both the Subclipse 1.6 and the Subversion Plug-in.

How do I get the required plug-ins?

I don’t know how to get you a list of pug-ins that I don’t have.

I’m also having problems installing the Subversive Plug-in in MyEclipse Blue 8.5. I selected the Subversive Plug-in (w/related) in MyEclipse Configuration Center (as detailed in the screen shot in a previous post) and everything works fine, until it’s finished fetching the software. Then it bombs out with the following message:

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Looks like the subversion site was down, while you were trying to update your ME profile. I would recommend you a quick fix using pulse
1. Open pulse. If you don’t have pulse, please download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com
2. Login to pulse. You can also login anonymously.
3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left hand corner dropdown
4. Select “MyEclipse Blue 8.5” from “My Profiles”.
5. Right click on the same and click on [Re-install and run]
6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.
