pombredanneMemberSupport for the full JSP 2.0 syntax including tag files, tagx and jspx XML syntax.
I really need it.
support-michaelKeymasterWe understand and are working rapidly to support as much as possible. The migration is non-trivial and resource consuming. The issue is that we lack the big corp. development army but we are in Ninja mode and work nearly around the clock to provide support and enhancements. My understanding is that its a feature/price/time trade-off such that adding more development resources will translate into higher product costs – which is not what we are about. Presently, 100% of all product income is rolled back into MyEclipse development plus our own investment and free time, e.g., Scott and I frequently work weekends and late nights w/o compensation. Sorry for the soapbox and we appreciate the feedback. Please know that we take all feedback very seriously.

pombredanneMemberMichael,
Except for the fact that your web site is slow, I think you are doing a great job!
I look forward to your inclusion of more features.
I shall suggest that you should consider using an open source approach, which properly crafted should not impair your ability to make an honest living from the subscriptions you sell, and for which you would get my enthusiastic support. This XML edition/ JSPX support is a big itch for me, and I am thinking about starting an open source project for that with a couple of other itchers…
That would not be any good for you.On the other hand, I am sure that we developpers and evaluators of myEclipse would love to contribute to the furthering of your product, as long as we continue to pay an honest subscription to you that guarantees that your business is and will be sustainable and will support our software development business properly. If you were to have an open source approach I would rather contribute a decent XML adn JSPX editor to you, instead of having to caring for it for ever.
You develop tools, we develop software and USE tools.
Think about it….
