Tiny icons for high resolution screens on Ubuntu 16.04
I run:
MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench
Version: 2017 CI 8
Build id: 15.0.1-20170912
on Ubuntu 16.04. My screen set to 3200×1800.
The icons in MyEclipse are so tiny as to be unusable, even though this report (https://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/news/4.6/M6/#Platform) suggests this problem has been solved at the Eclipse level. Any idea why the icons don’t scale to reasonable size in my environment?
Sorry for the delay in responding. As MyEclipse is based on eclipse neon.1, you should not be seeing this issue. Have you just switched to MyEclipse 2017 or have you just switched to a hi-res monitor? As mentioned in this reply to an old topic about this issue (for earlier releases) have you been trying the workaround referred to for earlier releases? If so, please check without the workaround.
Pretty sure I’ve only used 2017 on this laptop. I have not tried the fixes for older versions of Eclipse and I cannot find any external manifest files in the directory where MyEclipse is installed.
