❓ I am using Eclipse 3.1M6 with MyEclispe 3.8.4 Beta for 3.1M6 with Tomcat 5.0.28 and Java 1.5.0.02. I have MyEclipse setup with Tomcat as the server and it starts/stops Tomcat without issues. However, I have found that when I exit Eclipse, Tomcat is stopped eventhough it was running when Eclipse was running.

Is there any way to get Tomcat to say alive when exiting Eclipse?

If you are starting/stopping it from Eclipse, then it will cleanup before it exists. If you want to keep it running, you can just run it outside of Eclipse or you can install the Windows Service for it and just use that onceu you close down Eclipse to start it back up. But no, there isn’t a way to not have Eclipse cleanup the resources.
