Scott AndersonParticipantFirst, let me thank the thousands of you who have registered and download version 2.0.3 (EA 1) of MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench. Your feedback has been invaluable and we appreciate you giving us a chance to earn your business.
As you know from the site calendar, we plan on releasing a greatly enhanced version of Enterprise Workbench (v 2.1.1 EA 2) on June 23rd. However, all the trial license keys that you’ve all been using to test the EA 1 version will expire on June 15th.
Many of you have realized this issue and have solved it yourselves by simply paying us $29.95 for your 1-year subscription. If you’re in this category, there’s nothing you need to do; your subscription will continue in an uninterrupted fashion without the need to do anything further. We also want to let you know that since you’ve paid for the product before it’s production release, we will not “start the clock” on your 1-year subscription until the official production release date, which is scheduled for mid to late July. And, “thank you, thank you, thank you”! Your early support for MyEclipse has helped us validate this market and works toward ensuring that we can maintain the staffing levels we’d like to in order to rapidly enhance the product and deliver the quick tech support you’ve grown used to.
OK, for the rest of you, and you know who you are, you’re currently in a bit of a bind. Of course, you could go ahead and upgrade your subscription to avoid this issue completely, but we realize that many of you may still be “on the fence” and are still trying to determine whether or not MyEclipse will meet your needs. No problem. In order to maintain uninterrupted use of v2.0.3 of Enterprise Workbench while you wait for the EA2 release, please use the following license key:
Trial License – Expires 07/30/2003
GGR7ZL-755556-585285-603546607This key won’t work with EA2, but it will keep you going until the end of the month or until you can download and install EA2, which will come with another 30-day trial. And again, anyone that subscribes a little early will effectively get a month or so for free until the GA release anyway.
We’re extending the license and offering multiple, sequential trials right now because we don’t feel comfortable asking anyone to pay for a non-production product (although we certainly would appreciate it 🙂
