Does anyone know of a tutorial for configuring the embedded Tomcat server in MyEclipse6.5? I’ve had several questions and have realized a tutorial would have been a great assist in this endeavor. I still don’t have all the issues resolved.

    Thanks.

I am not doing a web project which one of those tutorials gives details about, but I have looked at them. yes.

I am wondering if my Catalina_Home and Catalina_Base are configured correctly as given below from the Launch Configuration.

Window -> Preferences -> MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench -> Servers -> Integrated Sandbox -> MyEclipse Tomcat 6 -> Launch, click on Create Launch Configuration, select the Arguments tab and the VM Arguments will show the default values for these two properties.

    VM arguments:
    -D catalina.home= C:/Java/JavaSource/plugins/com.genuitec.eclipse.easie.tomcat.myeclipse_6.5.0.zmyeclipse650200806/tomcat

    -D catalina.base = C:/development/.metadata/.plugins/com.genuitec.eclipse.easie.tomcat.myeclipse/tomcat

Q: What exactly do you want to do? Do you want to configure another instance of Tomcat in MyEclipse? What functionality are you looking for under the custom launch configuration?
