MyEclipse 2014 Build id: 12.0.0-20131202 does not generate association classes in the diagram. Yes the association class is under Connections but a class is a class and should be generated. The Java class generator code should check for uml:Association in addition to uml:Class and generate the class with all its properties and operations.
