guow_99ParticipantThe Darkest Dark theme that comes with MyEclipse Blue 2020.9.16 has an issue with the Folder Expand is blank and not visible until mouse over. I am trying to upgrade to the latest DevStyle through your update site but got the following issue. Is there a way around this?
Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.
Software being installed: DevStyle (includes Darkest Dark Theme) 1.11.0.202105260439 (com.genuitec.eclipse.theming.core.feature.feature.group 1.11.0.202105260439)
Software currently installed: MyEclipse 16.0.0.c0000059t202011231712 (package.2915-Enr-0574.windows.x86_64 16.0.0.c0000059t202011231712)
Only one of the following can be installed at once:
Webclipse’s Theming CSS 1.11.0.202105260439 (com.genuitec.eclipse.theming.css 1.11.0.202105260439)
Webclipse’s Theming CSS 1.11.0.202009042217 (com.genuitec.eclipse.theming.css 1.11.0.202009042217)
Cannot satisfy dependency:
support-swapnaModeratorHi,
Sorry that you are seeing this issue.
For DevStyle that is shipped along with MyEclipse, you should upgrade the MyEclipse version to upgrade DevStyle.
Please go to Help > Check for Updates and pick up the latest 2022.1 release. This will update the DevStyle to the latest as well.Do let us know if you see any issues with the upgrade.

guow_99ParticipantHi Swapna,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Unfortunately we cannot upgrade to the latest MeEclipse version at the moment, due to the issues we encounter with a third party plug-in that we depend on for our daily work. Isn’t there a way to just upgrade DevStyle alone?
support-swapnaModeratorHi,
Given how DevStyle is integrated into MyEclipse, upgrading just DevStyle on older version of MyEclipse is hard.
Regarding the issue with Folder expand, can you please share more details?1. What type of folder is it? Are they Git folders by any chance? Do you see the problem in Explorer view only or also in Window > Preferences and other tree views?
2. Please share the OS and version details. If any specific OS theme is set, then please share those details as well.–Swapna

support-swapnaModeratorHi,
In addition to the details I asked in my previous response, please also share the screenshot of the Folder expand problem to help us get a visual.

guow_99ParticipantHi,
I was using a custom theme on Windows 10. Once I switched to Windows classic theme, the folder icons (in off white color) start to show.
What part of Window’s theme settings caused this, do you know?
With my custom theme, I do not see the Folder icon in any of the tree views (Package Explorer, Preferences, etc.) across the board.
Brian FernandesModeratorUnfortunately we’ve been unable to replicate this problem with the customizations we’ve tried, so we’re not sure what theme settings could cause the issue. Could you share some details on how you’ve customized your theme so we can test and hopefully reproduce this at our end?
Thanks!
