    Hi,
Finally getting back to doing some development, and I want to use spring 2.0 and hibernate 3.2. In the past, I’ve updated dot versions of apps before (like myfaces 1.1.3) by simply replacing the pathing in the myeclipse myfaces lib defs. Spring 2.0 isn’t a minor update, so I’m curious if there is a recomended way to do this.

    Thoughts:.
    1. Update the myeclipse spring definition to point to the new stuff. I expect that this will work, but the editors won’t be aware (I assume) of the new syntax options that exist. While spring 2.0 is backwards compatible with config files for the most part, I lose the benefits of the much improved syntax

    2. Simply create a user library (shared between the team) that incorporates the new stuff. This will not allow any spring aware editing, wizards, and the like, but I don’t think that is that big of a deal considering how different the new stuff is.

I’m leaning towards option 2, but I was wondering if anyone had thoughts. Another question is when will spring 2.0 be supoorted in myeclipse (rough ideas?).

Same questions apply to using hibernate 3.2. Any thoughts?

    Tx in advance!

Another question just occurred to me. Is there a plan to support hibernate annotations with myeclipse?
